Let's know the postal services.
As part of our educational initiative, we invited Tuni Postmaster Mr. Prasad and Postman Mr. Pampaya of Tuni sub post office to share their services to the community to our students. Mr. Prasad explained the various services of Indian Postal Services such as sending parcels, money, letters, and gifts. He also shared the Saving and insurance schemes for all age groups especially Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana for girls below 10 years, which promotes girls' education and financial empowerment. He shared the interesting facts about postal services such as with a minimum of 50-paise post card ,they can write letters or greetings to anyone all over the country. Inland letters and envelopes are also useful for writing letters if they want to share any information personally. Speed Post can be delivered to anyone, anywhere quickly. Registered Post requires the signature of the person who receives it ,at the time of delivery and it's to be given to the intended . The session was interactive, with Mr. Pampaya ,sharing his experiences as a postman and answering the questions of the curious students. Through this Atidhi programme our students gained valuable insights into the importance of post offices and the services they provide. We thank Mr. Prasad and Mr. Pampaya for taking the time to educate and empower our young minds.
