Exploring Measurements
Field trip of class- 3 on Measurements.
Learning outcomes:
•Identifying the difference between the units of length and weight .
•Exploring the use of measuring scale and weighing machine.
As part of their experiential learning, Grade 3 students from [State] visited Sri Rama Anjaneya Jewellers and Textiles in Tuni. Mr. D. Padmakar, the owner, facilitated an engaging session where he explained the conversion of various units, including metres to centimeters, centimeters to inches, milligrams to grams, and grams to kilograms.
Through this interactive experience, the children gained hands-on knowledge of measuring unit conversions. Mr. Padmakar demonstrated how to measure cloth using a metre scale and showcased the process of measuring silver items in grams. The students even calculated the cost of 1 kilogram of silver.
This field trip provided the children with an enriching and memorable learning experience.
