Vasantha Panchami Celebrations at Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan
The students of Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan, State Board, High School, celebrated Vasantha Panchami with great devotion and enthusiasm. The event was marked by various activities that highlighted the cultural and spiritual significance of the festival.
• Worship and Hymns
The celebrations began with the worship of Goddess Saraswathi, the deity of knowledge and wisdom. Students chanted hymns with utmost devotion, creating a serene and spiritual atmosphere.
• Offering of Prasadams
A variety of prasadams were offered to the deity, symbolizing the students' gratitude and reverence. The offerings included traditional sweets and savories, prepared with love and care.
• Visit to Talupulamma Talli Devasthanam
As part of the celebrations, the Class 10 students visited the Talupulamma Talli Devasthanam to attend the SARASWATHI HOMAM. The homam was performed to seek the blessings of Goddess Saraswathi for success in their upcoming annual examinations.
• Blessings and Gifts
The students received pens as a token of blessing from the Devasthanam, symbolizing the importance of education and the pursuit of knowledge. The pens were given to encourage the students to excel in their studies and perform well in their exams.
