Prakashites have celebrated this festival on a grand scale in Sri Prakash Junior college Payakaraopeta. Students have demonstrated puzzles, brain-teasers, mathematical models to their co-students, parents and teachers with simple techniques. Principal Sri V.V.S.S. Bhanu Murthy has stated in his speech that students must notice the significance of mathematics and learn calculations with lucid methods. Celebrating festival theme activities are the best way to help our children learn about a festival, the culture and the tradition related to the festival. The harvest festival of Andhra Pradesh ‘Makara Sankrathi’ was celebrated with traditional background with enthusiasm on 10th January 2023. The day started off with a Sankrathi themed song and dance by our students. As part of the celebrations, ‘Chakkara Pongali’ was prepared in earthen clay pots and the Prasadham was distributed to the parents, students, teachers and support staff. The campus wore a festive look with colourful Rangoli, Pots, Sugarcane and kites enhancing the festive spirit. It was very nice to see our students took a lead in volunteering the grand celebrations.Circle Inspector of Payakaraopeta & Many dignitaries are invited to cherish the program.

Dr. Reddy also worked with NMSEZ Pvt Ltd, Navi Mumbai as President heading Transport planning group.
