Every year on December 31, Sri Prakash educational institutions celebrate New Year's Eve. This year, there are also colourful cultural events. In India, rangoli, a widely popular folk art, is associated with many different things. Indians use items like coloured rice, dry flour, coloured sand, or flower petals to make designs on the floor in living rooms or courtyards. One of the most well-liked activities during festivals is rangoli competitions. Rangoli is a spiritual colour arrangement that is viewed as a lucky charm. The majority of rangoli patterns maintain symmetry, such as a swastika or the yin and yang symbol. These symmetrical rangoli patterns are thought to represent growth, luck, and success. He instructed them on the safe handling of domestic LPG cylinders. Smt. D.Sri lakshmi academic in-charge for girls also shared her experience with girls.

Mathematics Day is celebrated on 22nd December on the birth eve of the greatest mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan every year. Prakashites have celebrated this festival on a grand scale in Sri Prakash Junior college Payakaraopeta. Students have demonstrated puzzles, brain-teasers, mathematical models to their co-students, parents and teachers with simple techniques. Principal Sri V.V.S.S. Bhanu  Murthy has stated in his speech that students must notice the significance of mathematics and learn calculations with lucid methods. Students, Teachers and In-charges have made this programme a grand success.  

Celebrating festival theme activities are the best way to help our children learn about a festival, the culture and the tradition related to the festival. The harvest festival of Andhra Pradesh ‘Makara Sankrathi’ was celebrated with traditional background with enthusiasm on 10th January 2023. The day started off with a Sankrathi themed song and dance by our students. As part of the celebrations, ‘Chakkara Pongali’ was prepared in earthen clay pots and the Prasadham was distributed to the parents, students, teachers and support staff. The campus wore a festive look with colourful Rangoli, Pots, Sugarcane and kites enhancing the festive spirit. It was very nice to see our students took a lead in volunteering the grand celebrations.Circle Inspector of Payakaraopeta & Many dignitaries are invited to cherish the program.

Dr. T S Reddy addressing Junior College students.... Topic is "INTELLIGENT TRANSPORT SYSTEM " Dr Reddy served as a Technical Expert in Yemen Arab Republic on behalf of India. Dr. Reddy also worked with NMSEZ Pvt Ltd, Navi Mumbai as President heading Transport planning group. Currently he is advising Lea Associates South Asia Pvt Ltd in the area of Transport Planning and Engineering. He is also Road Safety specialist in the projects of ADB and IBRD spread across the country.
