M.Rishith varma of class 10 J.M.V.V.Kumar of class 9 and Bhaskar sri sai raj of class 8 of Sri Prakash Vidya Niketan ,CBSE, P.R.PETA secured 2nd place in Mandal level Chekumukhi Science Celebrations organized by Jana Vignana Vedika on 18.11.22 .More than 80 students from all the private and govt schools of Payakaraopeta Mandal participated in the event.

Kilani Krishnaveni , Class -VIII student @ Sri Prakash Vidya Niketan , CBSE Payakaraopeta secured third place in the State level in the Telugu Talent test 2022-23 conducted by Mana Samskruthi Network India PVT Ltd. She is going to receive her award on 20.12.2022 at Telangana Saraswath Parishat Hyderabad.

Sri Prakash always brings and introduces intellectuals and educationalists to inspire the students and the teachers to lead their lives happily and joyfully. As a part of it, Sri Kakada Nagendra Gandhi, the Mandal Educational Officer, has been felicitated at the Sri Prakash Vidya Southam, Payakaraopeta as he was recognized as the best MEO in the Visakhapatnam District. All in- charges from various wings have participated in this programme which has made it on a grand scale.

 Sri M.V.V.S. Murthy, the Senior Principal of Sri Prakash Educational Institutions, has appreciated the Guest of Honour in his words that He is very simple, though he is learning new things day by day. The Guest of Honour, Sri Kakada Nagendra Gandhi, has guided the teacher’s community that teachers must inculcate moral values in the minds of young kids apart from academics and treat and teach them with the same length irrespective of their studies.

There is a tradition in Sri Prakash that Prakashites are making Lord Ganesha Idols every year by using clay to worship and they even distribute these idols in their neighbourhood to bring awareness about the importance of environment in people. We, the Prakashites make idols using clay which are eco-friendly to the environment. It is because clay can be mixed with the soil very easily moreover it is not harmful to the environment. Whereas the idols which are made up of Plaster of Paris and other chemical substances are highly contaminating the water bodies. So, people who love their Nature can save the money and their environment too. There is a philosophical angle that man evaluates from the soil and human body is full of the Five Elements. So, it is our responsibility to save Nature for future generations.    

Prakashites have celebrated National Sports Day in a splendid manner this year to remember and to recollect the hockey wizard of India, Major Dhyan Chand. National Sports Day, or Rastriya Khel Divas, is an annual observance that falls on August 29 the day on which Dhyan Chand was born. Major Dhyan Chand played a crucial role in India’s gold medal victory at the Olympics three consecutive times – 1928, 1932, and 1936 and inspired all Indians so that we have incorporated sports and physical activities into our day to life. On this grand occasion, Prakashites have participated in throw ball and Volleyball in different levels. The Chief Guest Dr. K. Veerraju expressed that healthy body has a health soul so that we must play out door games to strength our power. He further stated that One should have Fear, Devotion and Responsibility to achieve goals. Our Senior Principal Sri. M. V. V. S. Murthy encouraged students with his memorized words to inject about the goodness of Dhyan Chand. Winners of various games and sports would be given away the prizes. All the Prakashites have very joyfully enjoyed this event.

We, the Telugu people are celebrating this occasion on the birth anniversary of Gidugu Venkata Ramamurthy who was a Telugu writer and one of the earliest modern Telugu linguists and social visionaries during the British rule.
