Rimzhim & Childrens Day celebration

Rim-Zhim is the most significant event in Sri Prakash education institute academic year. It's convention of the school to celebrate this remarkable event during the second week of November as a part of Children's Day celebrations. It is a unique venture of personality development which brings out the hidden talents of the students in various activities such as literary, cultural, art, technology, creativity, music, sports and games. This year since it's inception on 7th November till 12th November the students from all the four houses Chola, Kakatiya, Marata and Maurya with spirited rivalry, utmost jubilance, resilience, discipline, respect, teamwork and by overcoming adversities took part in all the intra house competitions conducted in various activities under different categories. All out of the class rooms with power pak schedule showcasing different skill and abilities within to fight to finish amid cheer from teachers and their peer groups. Sri Prakash not only aims to improve students academic excellence and physical fitness, but also strives to bring out the hidden potentials of the students, therefore encourages them to prove their mettle in school activities and even in out of the school activities. Students make a consistent endeavour to follow the school core values- Respect, Punctuality, Honesty, Cleanliness and Self-Reliance. Thus Sri Prakash proved to be synonymous for the holistic development of the students. Academics, Discipline, in nschoolactivies out of the school activities and the overall Champion house were recognised and conferred on with prizes and trophies. To instill the sense of responsibility and commitment among the students and to create awareness about self-governance, investiture ceremony was held at Sri Prakash vidyaniketan. The ceremony was presided over by the chairman of the school Mr. Ch Vijay Prakash, the chief guest Mr. Sri Guduri Srinivas, The Sr. principal M.V.V.S. Murthy, The principal Mrs. Vimala, Manager Mr. A.S.N. Murthy and Vice-principal Mrs. Sri Lakshmi.

The Investiture ceremony signified the self reliance and confidence that the self-reliance and confidence that the school consigned the newly invested council to mantle the accountability. All the new council members pledged to bestow their duties to the best of their abilities. They were confronted with badges and sashes. The chief guest and the chairman exhorted them to uphold the value and be infused with the spirit to create a positive influence with their services and leaders.

krishna janmashtami celebrations

Sri Krishna janmashtami was celebrated on 06-sep-2023 with full vigor at Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan. It is celebrated as a symbol of the end of darkness and rooting out of the evil forces. The event began with prayer and children from class PP1 to 5 dressed up as Lord Krishna and Radha. The entire atmosphere was filled with devotion and excitement.

Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan took the opportunity to both jubilate and to teach the young children the significance of the festival. The school premises was decorated beautifully and the spirit of festivity was enhanced with life history of Lord Krishna. A lot of fun-filled activities were conducted.

The principal of the school, Smt. Vimala, Manager A.S.N.Murthy, Vice principal Smt. Srilakshmi, Staff blessed the children on this auspicious day.

Daripalli Ramaiah (born 1937) is an Indian social worker. He hails from Reddypally village in Khammam district of the state of Telangana. He is the recipient of the Padma Shriaward for the year 2017, for his invaluable contribution to extending tree cover.[1] He is locally known as 'Chetla Ramaiah', trees Ramaiah. On a mission to bring back the green cover, he is estimated to have planted more than 10 million saplings in and around Khammam district with a thrust on trees that provide shade, fruit-bearing plants, and Biodieselplants with assured benefit to future generations. As a relentless campaigner of social forestry for more than 5 decades, Ramaiah himself cannot recall when it all exactly started. He remembers vaguely that as a child he often saw his mother saving the seeds of vegetable plants for the next Growing season. Ever since he was a child, he has been collecting seeds of native trees such as Sandalwood, Albizia saman, Ficus religiosa, Aegle marmelos, Neolamarckia cadamba and many more in his mission to cover every barren land with trees.

Senior IAS officer and former Principal Home Secretary Shri Bhanwar Lal, is the Chief Electoral Officer of Andhra Pradesh. Bhanwar Lal is from the state of Rajasthan and he was born on 25th October 1957. Shri Bhanwar Lal is a 1983 batch IAS officer of Andhra Pradeshcadre. He completed his Masters Degree in Economics from the University of Rajasthan and MBA from the Birmingham University, UK. As an IAS officer Bhanwar Lal donned several caps - he was the Sub-Collector and Sub Divisional Magistrate at Kandukur and District Collector of Karimnagar in Hyderabad. He was also the managing director of Andhra Pradesh State Non Resident Indian Investment Corporation, Project Coordinator of Central Silk Board and the Commissioner of Civil Supplies. In an all encompassing career in the Government, Bhanwar Lal has had the good opportunity to make ample contribution towards the welfare of labour in the unorganized sector where he helped the unemployed youth to grasp the market demanding skills.

Many students of Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan actively participated in vanam manam program and planted plants. The government has decided that the Vanam Manam programme, being launched on July 29 all over the State as part of Mission Haritandhrapradesh to improve the green cover in the State to 50 per cent by 2029 from the present 26 per cent, should be a people’s programme than a government programme, large scale participation of the people and institutions is needed. Public is the stakeholder and saplings must be planted in every open space inside a house and outside, the industries and organisations must saturate the open space on their premises before going to take up planting saplings in other areas.

Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan stands first to expose all the traditions and cultures to the prosterities. In this process during the month of December the school conduct cultural, literary and sports competitions for the students in and around East Godavari District and rewards the winners with a cash prize on the day of sankranti sambaralu. On that day the students celebrate the festival in a village which is uniquely built in the school ground. A chief guest inaugurates the village in which one can witness- a school, grama sabha, a park, a solar plant, a water tank, a temple, a few huts, bullock cart, cocks, mounds of grain, people winnowing it, girls playing kolatam moving around bonfire and decorated with rangoli everywhere. One can also see haridas and men disguised in some mycological characters like lord Rama, Hanuman etc.

INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATIONS

The 76th independence Day Celebrations were conducted on a grand scale with magnificence and grandeur at Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan, Rajahmundry. The National Flag was hoisted by the Principal of the school. It was followed by the March Past presented by the NCC cadets of the school. The wonderful display of drill to the background music of drums stood out as one of the best highlights of the day. The entire proceedings were live telecast on YouTube and the same was witnessed and appreciated by one and all.

ATAL TINKERING LABORATORY

The Atal Tinkering Lab is a flagship initiative of the Atal Innovation Mission of NITI Aayog. It was set with the vision to ‘Cultivate one Million children in India as Neoteric Innovators’ by providing them with 21st century skills through self-learning. It intends to introduce children to the world of innovation and tinkering.

One such lab is established in Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan. Under this scheme, the institution provides a workspace for children to give shape to their ideas through hands on do-it-yourself mode. Students are provided with do-it-yourself kits and equipment on science, electronics, robotics, sensors, 30 printers with computers. Students of standard VI to XI are trained for 2 hours per week in Arduino programming and Scratch Coding by expert trainers.
