Mr. Prasad explained the various services of Indian Postal Services such as sending parcels, money, letters, and gifts. He also shared the Saving and insurance schemes for all age groups especially Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana for girls below 10 years,which promotes girls' education and financial empowerment. He shared the interesting facts about postal services such as with a minimum of 50-paise post card ,they can write letters or greetings to anyone all over the country. Inland letters and envelopes are also useful for writing letters if they want to share any information personally. Speed Post can be delivered to anyone,anywhere quickly. Registered Post requires the signature of the person who receives it ,at the time of delivery and it's to be given to the intended . The session was interactive, with Mr. Pampaya ,sharing his experiences as a postman and answering the questions of the curious students. He started his career as a soldier in 2004, after 6 months of base training at Jammu and Kashmir. <br>He explained the different departments and the roles of officers. He made the children understand the weapons that the soldiers use and the way they patrol and protect at the borders.<br>He shared that our Indian army consists 15 lakh active personnel and 2000 officers among whom 700 are women officers. He also distributed prizes to the winners of games and sports from LKG to 3rd class .All the teachers and students worked together to prepare articles and projects on the theme of Greens.The children from play school to Grade 5 worshipped Tulasi and Amla plants during the auspicious month of Karthikam.. Students brought rice made of various Greens,  homemade food items and shared them with their friends. They not only counted the number of wheels each vehicle had but also observed the size and shape of them. <br>Next, the children noticed a train moving on the track. They also identified that it had more wheels and run faster than other vehicles. The children differentiated that some vehicles like cars, buses moved on road and vehicles like train moves on the track.
