Grade 7 Students of Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan, Anavaram, had a unique and educational experience during their visit to a mega kitchen in Bandapudi. This facility, known for preparing midday meals for government school children, has the capacity to produce an impressive 40,000 meals that can be sent to 500 schools, in11 mandals every day.The visit was organized to provide the students with insights into how large-scale meal preparation is managed efficiently. Upon arrival, the children were welcomed by the kitchen staff and the supervisor Mr V Naresh, who guided them through the various stages of the operation.Smt A Sita Varalaxmi,President of Alluri Sitaramaraju Educational Society appreciated the students for the passion of learning in how technology and teamwork come together to deliver thousands of nutritious meals daily.From the automated cleaning and chopping of vegetables to the enormous vessels used for cooking, every process was explained in detail. The children observed how hygiene and quality control are maintained at every step to ensure that the meals are both safe and nutritious. The sight of the massive cooking equipment and the precise coordination of tasks left the students in awe.The visit also included an interactive session where the children learned about the importance of community support initiatives like midday meal programs. Educational tours provide students with valuable real-world experiences that enhance their thirst for knowledge. On this occasion, Grade 8 students from Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan, Annavaram, visited Royal Imports and Exports - a sea food processing unit at Thammayya Peta village on 3rd December 2024.

The students had the unique opportunity to gain first-hand experience of how marine products like prawns, shrimps, and tuna are processed and packaged for export. Upon entering the cold storage, which maintains a temperature of -18°C, the students were provided with proper protective gear to ensure their safety and comfort.
Mr. K. Chinna, the HR Manager of Royal Exports and Imports, guided the students through the entire process. He explained how the marine products are sourced, cleaned, and packaged to meet international export standards. The workers also actively engaged with the students, answering their curious questions and explaining the procedures in detail.
This visit offered the students a practical understanding of their social studies lessons on industries and human resources. Experiencing the operations firsthand, they gained insight into the hard work and coordination required in such industries. Many students expressed their excitement and appreciation for this rare opportunity, noting that it was an unforgettable and eye-opening experience.

The Grade 5 students of Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan , Annavaram, recently embarked on an exciting field trip to SNS Tiles and Marbles, located opposite SR Residency, Subbarayapuram, Bendapudi village. Accompanied by their science teachers, the students explored the fascinating world of tiles and marbles.
The children were captivated by the wide variety of tiles and marbles displayed neatly on racks. The beautiful designs and vibrant colours left them enchanted. Mr. S. Suresh, the owner of the shop, warmly welcomed the students and explained the different types of tiles available, including floor tiles, parking tiles, wall tiles, and kitchen tiles.
Curious and eager to learn, the students asked many questions, even taking the tiles in their hands to examine them closely. They inquired about how tiles are fixed, and the salesman patiently explained the use of materials like Hydroflex adhesive and tile grout. He also answered questions about where tiles are manufactured, how they are transported, and their pricing, providing detailed and thoughtful responses.
The visit turned out to be an enriching experience for the children, who returned to school with a wealth of knowledge and great satisfaction. It was a day of learning and exploration, making science come alive in the most practical way.

Sri Krishna Janmashtami, the joyous celebration of Lord Krishna’s birth, was observed with grandeur at Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan, Annavaram. The event saw enthusiastic participation from students across all classes, who came dressed in the traditional attire of Gopikas and Lord Krishna. Their vibrant costumes and joyful demeanor captivated the audience, creating an atmosphere filled with devotion and festivity.

The program commenced with the students of the 2nd class offering a Ganapati Prarthana, invoking Lord Ganesha's blessings for the success of the event. This was followed by a series of slokas and songs that praised the divine beauty and grace of young Krishna. The young students performed dances with divine joy, glorifying the creator of the universe and recounting stories of how Krishna protected innocent people from evil forces. One memorable performance included a group of Gopikas singing a hymn, playfully requesting Krishna to stop stealing butter from their pots.

The highlight of the celebration was the pot-breaking ceremony, a traditional event that filled the day with excitement. Students eagerly attempted to break a butter-filled pot suspended high above, but only a few succeeded, adding to the thrill of the occasion. The celebration concluded with a heartwarming story narrated by Tatwajna, a 5th class student, about the deep friendship between Lord Krishna and Kuchela. Through these activities, the students beautifully commemorated the birth of Mukunda, the divine Lord who gifted the world the sacred Bhagavad Gita.

The event was graced by the presence of Chief Guest Sri Veeravalli Murarji, Mandal Revenue Officer of Thondangi Mandal, Guest of Honour Sri M.V.V.S. Murthy, the senior principal of Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan, and the school headmaster, Sri D.L.P. Raju. Their participation added a special touch to the celebrations.

Visiting a local cloth store on Annavaram Main Road, they eagerly touched various materials and asked the shopkeeper questions about prices, quality, and how cloth is measured.

The shopkeeper, an expert in his field, demonstrated the measuring process and explained that the cloth is sourced from Rajamahendravaram's wholesale market. The accompanying teacher further enriched the visit by discussing the importance of different fabrics for various seasons.
